The first four poems were originally untitled.
"Lilith" is from a letter to Tevis Clyde
Smith, ca. mid to late-September 1927 ("Salaam:
/ Seeking cognizance of things ...").
The typescript page for "Lilith" is an example of a "finished
form" that REH would commonly use when a poem was ready to send out to a
potential publisher.
