Dark Alleys began in 2007 and ran until 2021.
The first two years the project was broadcast weekly on the radio station "Pulse-Radio Yoshkar-Ola" at night.
The recordings were also heard on the Internet stations "Radio Fantastiki" and "Radio Luna."
These recordings were not released commercially.
The recordings were published for the society of the blind.
Publication titles, story titles, and publisher names are given in Russian (Cyrillic and Latin alphabets)
and English as applicable.
